Research on Older Adults with HIV (ROAH) [IRB1603017050]

Purpose: The goal of this study is to learn more about the overall health, wellbeing, and lifestyle of people living with the HIV infection who are aged 55 or older.

Eligibility: 

Inclusion criteria:

  • Current patient at the Center for Special Studies (CSS) age 50 or older
  • Documented HIV infection
  • Randomly selected to be invited for participation
  • Able and willing to provide informed consent
  • Speaks either English or Spanish

Exclusion Criteria:

  • No informed consent
  • Presence of a physical, mental health, or cognitive issue that would preclude completion of a 1 to 1 ½ hour self-administered survey on a computer or paper copy
  • Participants will be excluded from the prospective cohort if they are under the age of 55
