Collaborative Funding Opportunity For Junior Faculty
Junior faculty at the Assistant Professor level (with background in engineering or the computational or physical sciences) that partners with a CTSA-supported clinical-scientist are invited to apply for this Administrative Supplement from NIBIB.
The supplement will provide the research scholar with salary and research support for a minimum of 75% effort for 2 years.
Applicant organizations may submit only two applications. There will be an internal selection process. To apply, please send a letter of intent (no longer than 3 pages) to the attention of CTSC Program Director, Julianne Imperato-McGinley, MD, outlining the rationale for the proposed supplement and its alignment with NIBIB’s mission and the NCATS CTSA program, description of research program plan, description of key career development activities, and information about the mentoring faculty who will be involved
