KL2 Alumnus Establishes the Faltas Lab at WCM

KL2 Alumnus, Bishoy Faltas,  MD, heads up the Faltas lab at Weill Cornell Medicine which focuses on studying bladder cancer as a model disease for dissecting the fundamental biological mechanisms that drive the evolution of human cancers. His lab's mission is to improve the lives of bladder cancer patients by translating discoveries to early-phase and first-in-human clinical trials. Dr. Faltas was also a recipient of the US Department of Defense's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) in 2017 for $610,000 over 3 years.
